Building on our Trust theme, the key to this is Psychological Safety.


This arises, according to Amy Edmondson, from the "belief that one will not be punished or humiliated for speaking up with ideas, questions, concerns, or mistakes”.


A psychologically safe environment makes it easier for your team members to voice their thoughts, share ideas and engage in healthy debate. It is a vital part of building rapport within a team, and ALL team members must feel safe enough to participate.


There are several ways to create a psychologically safe environment for you and your team members as we have outlined below.
